Joel was born and raised in North Vancouver. After receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration with Distinction in 2013, Joel headed off to Australia to pursue his legal education. Joel received his Juris Doctor with Honours in 2015 from Bond University and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2017.
Joel’s practice is focused on civil litigation. He has successfully advocated for clients in plaintiff personal injury claims, insurance disputes, strata property disputes, real estate transaction disputes, and contract disputes. He has advocated on behalf of clients in the British Columbia Provincial Court, Supreme Court and Civil Resolution Tribunal.
Outside of work, Joel enjoys playing hockey, golfing, fishing, playing the guitar, spending time with his dogs. Joel has also served as a volunteer coach for the North Vancouver Minor Hockey Association.
Joel is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
